Window Insulation Ltd has an exclusive licence to distribute the unique Low-E retrofit coating for windows.
Their product reduces heat loss through the glass by 40% in the winter whilst reducing condensation by 50%. In the summer, it reflects-away almost all harmful UV radiation whilst reducing overheat, caused by Infra-Red radiation, by 40%. Overall, the coating can reduce energy use by 20%.
The materials cost of adding the coating is approximately £100 per square metre, or about £1,500 for an average semi-detached property.
