Phil Levermore, C.Eng, MIET
As co-founder of Ebico Limited in 1998, Phil’s commitment to the affordability, for low-income households, of sustainable energy in the UK dates back nearly 25 years. In that time, Phil has made numerous radio and TV appearances arguing for a fairer deal for those for whom keeping warm in the winter is an annual struggle. He has authored numerous articles on the mixed performance of government policy in tackling this issue. Phil founded the Ebico Trust for Sustainable Development to support those who were developing practical strategies for home energy affordability in sustainable ways. Phil is former Chairman of The Climate Group, an international non-profit policy organisation, and is CEO of Ebico.
Nick Johansen
Nick has been working in the energy industry for over 15 years. Nick’s experience includes helping to set up several successful smaller energy suppliers, including Good Energy and OVO Energy, that grew to be household names. Nick also spent several years working with social housing organisations to install high volumes of Solar PV for their tenants, set up a Social Enterprise that managed Solar PV projects with social landlords and was a Green Deal pioneer. Nick was also instrumental in setting up Green Deal Provider, Assessor and Installer entities.
Stephen Knight
Stephen is the former Chief Marketing Officer of a major energy supplier in the UK and has worked in and around the Energy Industry for over ten years. He was appointed to the Ebico Trust in 2019. He has a sales and marketing background with more than thirty years’ experience. As the former head of Brand and Marketing for the Walt Disney Company he had oversight of all WDC brands and businesses in the EMEA region. He is a serial entrepreneur, having set up an run a virtual marketing agency, a consultancy network, a marketing recruitment company and a management consultancy.
Guy Stenhouse
Guy is Chairman of Shancastle Investments Limited, a private family investment company, which focuses on investing in very young businesses. He is a former MD of an independent merchant bank and has acted as an adviser to both publicly listed and private businesses in a wide range of sectors as well as being involved in the sourcing and structuring of investments. Guy has held board appointments at several companies, both public and private, and is Chairman of Ebico Limited.
